A Cup of Coffee in Erie PA October Edition 2021

A Cup of Coffee in Erie, PA: October Edition 2021

Pumpkin this. Spice that. Sweeten everything. We love coffee. Here’s a few of the Fall beverages we’ve had while wandering around Erie recently. All of these drinks are delicious in their own way. Which one will you try?

The Crick Coffeehouse & Eatery: Pumpkin Cold Brew with Almond Milk and Pumpkin Pie Spice Syrup

What we love about this drink: This cold brew coffee has more pumpkin and less spice. Although we customized it to these specifications, you can get this served with whatever dairy/non-dairy milk that you’d like. You can also get it without the Pumpkin Pie Spice Syrup. We added the syrup because we do like spice added to anything pumpkin, and we were told that this pumpkin cold brew was more pumpkin rather than spice.

Javamango’s Outpost: French Lumberjack

What we love about this drink: The rich smoked maple syrup and the spiciness of the cinnamon give this drink all of the Fall flair it could possibly need! In our opinion, it wasn’t over spiced, but just perfect! It is a café au lait, which means that hot milk is added to the coffee or espresso; it’s very similar to a latte.

The Mainstreet Cakery Cafe: Pumpkin Cappuccino

What we love about this drink: This pumpkin cappuccino was basically like drinking pumpkin pie. It was served at just the right temperature; it was really hot, but not to the point where you had to wait a long time to truly enjoy it. It’s sweet and has a really great pumpkin pie flavoring to it. It’s not overbearing with spice, we truly thought it had just enough. The littles even tried a few sips of this and really liked it.

Romolo’s Chocolate: Caramel Pumpkin Pie Latte

What we love about this drink: This latte is made with real pumpkin that you can actually taste. It has subtle spices, it’s creamy, and it has a caramel aftertaste. Nothing about this drink tastes “fake” and you’ll absolutely feel the texture of the real pumpkin. This is something for those of you looking for a truly authentic drink.

Brew Ha Ha: Golden Chai

What we love about this drink: This drink is full of spice. It’s a latte blend with cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and clove. Be sure to ask for honey added when you order this, as it truly sweetens the drink and may calm down the spice, at least a little bit! For those of you that enjoy spicy chai, this is a must to try this Fall!
